Editor-in-Chief--- Sally Bishai ---

X Culture Magazine's fearless leader (or so she thinks), Sally has worked as a PR guru, a radio DJ, a radio actress, a fashion photographer, a music editor for the now-defunct Privy Magazine, and, most recently, a college instructor. While she loves teaching speech and intercultural comm at the college level, she's back at school, working on her Ph.D.

Sally thinks she can change the world, and is, thus, something of a documentarian; she's produced "Back To Square One? Fifty Years After Emmett Till," and "Strange Behaviour: How Westerners Feel About Gender Roles in the Middle East," and is close to finishing her latest, "2000 Years of Suffering; A Look at Egypt's Persecuted Copts."

Sally is the author of "Play it Again, Sall," a compilation of 13 plays and musicals she wrote during the 90s, "Mideast Meets West-- On Being and Becoming a Modern Arab American," a rather humourous (or so she's been told) look at the problems Arab Americans commonly run into, and, most recently, "Date Like An Egyptian: The Egyptian American's Guide To Finding a Mate--Or a Date." Her next title (in revision) is slated to be called "The Egyptian Chick's Guide to Getting Disinherited." Her mother wants it known that she strenuously objects to it.

Content Editor--- Al G. ---

Valuing the secrecy of his nationality more than his actual privacy, Al is a 'Western-Living Arab,' which he claims is 'the way to go.'
Al's most valued assets are
1- the fact that he allegedly looks like Farid el Atrash,
2- his old-skool pompadour,
and 3- his acerbic tongue.

Al is responsible for allowing or disallowing topics, language and the like. He's also responsible for ensuring that this endeavour is run as a professional organisation, rather than a bunch of chums who'll be writing their opinions.

Al has yet to actually write anything for xculture.
