With regard to the second step to participation in this study--a 15-minute anonymous online interview--there are two available formats:
1: LIVE Interview (real-time), meaning you will be having an online, anonymous conversation with me (Sally Bishai) for 15 minutes.
OR
2: "Alternate Format" Interview (not-real time), which will be similar to the survey format (a few questions with a comment box for your answers)
Technological Requirements for the LIVE (real-time) interview
1-- An instant messaging program (MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, or Yahoo Messenger).
2-- An 'anonymous' username (so I could NOT use "sallysall" or "sallsoola" or "brown-eyed-Bishai") that will NOT tip me off as to your identity.
3-- Fifteen minutes.
If you wish to select the LIVE Interview:
To complete Step Two and select the LIVE option, please indicate your availability (days and times) in the appropriate section of the survey on this page, and provide your ANONYMOUS username/email address (like bassboosa123@ILOVETACOS.com). Then, just sign on at that time and I will send you a message (unless you are faster!).
Alternately, just add sallybishai@yahoo.com to your Yahoo Messenger and send me a message whenever you see me online. (Remember not to tell me who you are! I want to protect your anonymity! :)
NOTE: Sometimes I leave the messenger on when I am NOT around, but feel free to message anyway and tell me that you'd like to begin the interview.
Another NOTE: As previously mentioned, AOL and MSN messengers are also possibilities, but I don't leave those on, so will only sign on there if you request it).
